Thursday Picks

Alright back for another week in the pick sphere. I’m switching it up in the NFL this week, while we wait to collect spread and moneyline data, we’re gonna make some money on Props this week. Here are my 4 favorites in the NFL

  1. Adam Thielan over 60 yards receiving +215

Andy Dalton enters the huddle for the Panthers, and I like what that could mean for the veteran Thielan. Thielen is not just another white guy receiver, he’s a stud, and a very smart player. Veterans always step up for new QB’s and I think Dave Canales will dial up some easy work for Thielan in the quick game to keep the Raiders pass rush off of Dalton.

  2. Keion White over .25 sacks +110

White has started the season on a year 2 tear, and it should continue tonight against the not as mobile as he once was Aaron Rodgers. White will line up all over the place and if he can isolate against the right side of the Jets Oline, he should atleast get a half sack in tonights action.

  3. Jordan Whittington 60+ Receiving yards (+425)

Stafford has talked a lot about Whittington’s potential, and with the injuries the Rams have, he should see an increase in playing time and target share this week. I really like the Value on 60 yards here because Whittington can get 30 on one big catch and clean up the rest.

  4. Derrick Henry 70+ Rushing yards (+105)

Dallas did nothing to improve their run defense and could be without Mazi Smith, which could mean a lot or could mean he’s not that much better than their backups. After the gashing from the Saints, the Ravens should try to ground and pound their way over the Cowboys, who haven’t shown the ability to stop teams on the ground in 3 seasons.

College Football Vibes only Picks

Ohio State -39.5 over Marshall

The Buckeyes are coming off a bye and will likely have figured out their early game offense with one last tune up before the conference slate.

USC -5.5 @ Michigan

I’m a big believer in USC this season, and much less of a believer in Michigan. This could be a low scoring game but Michigan just doesn’t have the fire power to keep up with USC, who has 3 legit receivers that should negate Will Johnson shutting down at least one of them. Big first test in the Big 10 for USC and I think they have what it takes.

Ole Miss -35.5 over GASO

System play, Ole Miss 3-0 ATS. Ride til they don’t cover.

Dog of the week

Illinois vs Nebraska, Illinois+250

The Illini are catching 7.5 in this game if you feel better about that, there’s a lot of hype around Nebraska and the sentiment that they could be 9-0 headed into Columbus next month, I’m not sold yet, and Illinois looks like a tough out.
